About Heading

Led by NASPA, and powered by StudentVoice, the Consortium serves to coordinate assessment initiatives across a broad range of Student Affairs professional associations. It uses a comprehensive web-based assessment platform to achieve the following goals:

  • Demonstrate the impact of programs and activities on student learning, growth, and development
  • Produce focused, data-driven reports on critical issues, best practices, and key trends in the profession
  • Benchmark with national and peer comparison data
  • Connect data to strategic goals and institutional priorities

Assessment Content Areas

An annual subscription to the Consortium allows for campus participation in assessment projects on four different content areas. Consortium campuses may substitute topics from future or previous years, if they wish to customize a schedule of topics based on their assessment initiatives. Also, a campus may opt out of a particular topic if it is not relevant or applicable to their campus.

Benchmarking

Participating colleges and universities have access to easy-to-use, sophisticated data analysis tools for creating institution-specific data reports and benchmarking reports. Participating colleges and universities can compare their operational and student data to national and peer group averages. The online benchmarking features allow Consortium members to better understand areas where their campus may be excelling, as well as areas of opportunity.
